A new day

Today Jorge and I took a trio to Hytro Central to speak to pastor Juan. I like the village a lot. The only thing I didn't like was the kids throwing rocks at me and shining mirrors in my face the whole time. Pastor Juan was very excited about us going to the village, he thinks that we will bring more intrest to the chirch. So far he has done a good job keeping his congregation but recently it has been struggling. Tomorrow we are planning on going to look for some American food in Juiaca...which is prolly gonna fail. I hope that we can find some food that won't hurt my stomach anymore. Wish us luck.

I hope you have luck finding food. Have you taken the medicine I bought for you to help your stomach? Think of things I can send with Drew when he comes. I have been showing off your pictures to everyone I know. There are LOTS of prayers being said for you two and your work. Keep it up!!!

Hi
Sorry about your stomach. I feel your pain. Sounds like you two are pretty busy. Was climbing that hill easy? It would have taken me quite a while. The view was great. Thanks for being there.

Hmmmm....seems like little kids are the same all over the world when strangers appear. Dodge the big rocks!

This is Lisa Cooper, Rachel's mom. We are all very proud of you and of Jorge, and we are praying for your mission.

I'm so happy you are documenting your trip in this way as I am a blog fanatic. I have linked to you and Jorge and mentioned your mission at my Georgia site in the hope that others will tune in. I also plan to mention you at my Bible site......http://gotbible.blogspot.com
and over at my history site.

This is a trip of a lifetime for you even if little kids are throwing rocks at you. :)

Mom- Peanut butter, Honda Tuning, Subie Sport, Baby wipes, Duck Tape, oatmeal, grits, coffee single packs, hot chocolate...

Dale- It was very hard, we had to stop like 10 times.

Mrs. Cooper- thanks for the support and thanks for getting the word out on our blogs.

Mrs. Pickens- thanks for the support too, and I still haven't found any food that is good.

Austin,
I can so sympathize about the food. I am a tremendously picky eater. My sister calls me a food diva! We had our first contemporary service on Sunday. I don't know what they did to improve the sound system, but it sounded wonderful. I enjoyed it a lot. So now, College & Career Sunday school is at 10:30. I missed you and Jorge both being there. I posted on Jorge's blog about random praying. You come to mind at odd times - that's when I pray. Hope it's helping :) Continue on!! Much love,
Bev

We are quite impressed with how you have really stepped out of your comfort zone to serve Him.

Glad we could get together that Saturday prior to your departure to hear your thoughts and comments. Now we are really looking forward to getting together upon your return to hear "the rest of the story".

We will fix a food hot real meal, too.

We are praying for you...
